Coy Brandenburg

Education

During his 4 year service in the United States Air Force, Coy received an Associates Degree from the Community College of the Air Force in Computer Operations and subsequently a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from the University of Florida. He is also LEED AP Certified by the USGBC and certified in Health Care Faility design thru ASHRAE.

Professional Organizations

Coy is an active member of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) since 1993. He has served as President of the local chapter, Activities chair person and is currently the local webmaster. In addition, he currently holds the position of Electronics Communication Committee Vice Chair for the society as well as the Regional Electronics Communications Chair for Region IX which encompasses most of the Midwest United States. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the U.S. Green Building Council.

Family

Coy and his wife Heather currently reside in Colorado Springs with their daughter Savannah. Heather is an active member of the United States Air Force and is serving at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Coy also has a son, Daniel, who resides in Florida

Community Service

Coy is currently the President of the Norwood Architectural control committee and has been since 1995. He is active in his church providing teaching to others in set building and painting. His interests include restoring cars and hot rods, golfing and all water sports. He has also been known to play a game or two of poker!

Professional Experience

Coy has 19 years of Mechanical and Plumbing Design and Project Management experience, all of which occurred in Southern Colorado. Believing that the clients needs comes first, his client relationships and his involvement in their projects from design to completion, are his main business focus.
